Sincere thanks and high-five to our fabulous hosts on the Blaque Life show at online radio Cliff Central for interviewing us on air recently about what we get up to with our professional photography and videography here at Outdoor Video & Photographic, as well as our particular passion for wildlife.
Above is a pic of us with the broadcast team of accomplished actor and presenter Tumisho Masha (left of pic), Blaque Magazine editor Monwabisi Thethe (right of pic) and former motorcycle racing star and entrepreneur Wilmarie SA Speedqueen (second from right), together with our fellow guest and client, mentorship expert Hema Vallabh of The Passionate Professional (second from left). We had a great, thought-provoking chat, exploring questions relating to entrepreneurship, mentorship, social media, email marketing and blogging.
Discussing the fact that this website of ours was selected as the 2014 SA Best Photographic Blog inspired fresh gratitude for everyone who voted for our site, including the general public and the judges, as well as all the people who have contributed to this blogging journey of ours over the past six years. Looking back it becomes clearer how so many factors intertwine synergistically and contribute to the process of creating a successful online platform.
Images have played a pivotal role in this process, combined with video, especially in terms of the wildlife work that we have been privileged to shoot and share with our international readership. From a business perspective, the value of incorporating professional imagery in your marketing mix is profound. In line with this, the 2014 Social Media Marketing Industry Report published by Social Media Examiner, reveals that the top forms of marketing content that marketers most wanted to learn about in 2015 are “creating original value assets”, followed by “producing original videos”.
So if you have your finger on the pulse of global trends, stay tuned to this site and sign up below to receive updates to your inbox, as our purpose here is to share insight and inspiration relating to the phenomenal marketing mediums of photography and videography, along with ideas and advice on how you can harness these for your own marketing success.
