Isn’t it fabulous how a few key changes to our living or working space can bring a breath of fresh air to the experience of being there? That’s the magic of house whispering, or in our case “studio whispering”. Since building our studio (based in Randpark Ridge, Johannesburg) over 10 years ago, we’ve loved the creative energy and joy it has given us as well as hundreds of clients.

With the special introduction of Juanita Meijsen as our new OV&P operations manager, we’ve decided to capitalise on the extra capacity and whisk a wand through our studio with a view to making it available for hire. This is possible with or without equipment, including a variety of backdrops, studio lights and soft boxes, a light table with infinity curve, as well as a computer that can be connected directly to your camera.

A bathroom and kitchenette area are included, facilitating clothing changes for models and refreshments for participants in photo and/or video shoots. In terms of the latter, we have a specific backdrop for green screen shoots, which works brilliantly to provide for editing a variety of backgrounds into your video. Sound and lighting equipment for video can also be made available.

Additional items such as polystyrene boards, light covers and coloured gels contribute to your creative options for photographing people and/or products, with plenty of space available to accommodate groups too. On that note, we offer a chill zone outside, incorporating a swimming pool with thatched boma, where models can relax in between takes, when required. This can alternatively be utilised for natural light photo and/or video shoots.
