CONGRATS to the Barrow Group, as well as their architects and everyone else involved in Katherine & West, which has been voted the COOLEST building in Jozi 2015 via the City Peaks people’s choice award! It’s our privilege and pleasure to have filmed and photographed this iconic building in Sandton on behalf of Barrow, and we’re not surprised that it has taken the top spot in the inaugural year of this uber-cool competition, dubbed “The X Factor of office space”. Within the magnificent exterior, Katherine & West incorporates 8 floors of prime office space, crowned by 7 luxurious duplex penthouses.

Situated at its sought after address on the corner of Katherine and West streets, the building is in close proximity to the Sandton Gautrain Station, the Bus Rapid Transit system (which includes a route running along West Street and Rivonia Rd), as well as the M1 freeway via Grayston Drive. Spectacular during the day, Katherine & West also sparkles at night, with occupants enjoying stunning views across Sandton and beyond. Barrow’s achievement in winning the prestigious City Peaks award is particularly impressive in light of the other superb participants in the competition, which include more of the largest listed property funds in the country, namely Capital, Growthpoint, Redefine, Emira, Abland, Zenprop, Amdec and Bakos Brothers Properties.
