Memorable Market Open

Music can truly stir the soul, sometimes at unexpected times and places. We were treated to this recently when we filmed a memorable opening of the market at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. The guest of honour was acclaimed SA flautist and music composer, Wouter Kellerman, fresh from winning a Grammy Award for Best New Age Album for Winds of Samsara, which he created in collaboration with Indian composer and producer, Ricky Kej. The album, dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela, also reached #1 on the US Billboard New Age Albums Chart. Continue reading “Memorable Market Open”

Katy’s Palace Bar in Kramerville, Johannesburg, falls perfectly into this category. The ambience and decor are rich in quirky character and eclectic colour, providing a vibrant backdrop for photos of guests, as well as accent images.
